Statistics, statistics, statistics
Okay...
I got and read Kevin's email regarding the Teen Summer Reading stats. Speaking from Bethel's viewpoint only, I have to say that this year's statistic gathering is going to be time consuming and labor intensive. I know that, I can accept that. And...I'm thrilled that the programs are going so well, to make it so complicated!!!!
What I'm hoping to gather here is an idea or two on how you and your branch will compile these stats? Do you have a handy spreadsheet or database that you can share?
Thanks all!!

Very young and wild toddlers!
So, I said I would not post this topic ~ I would figure it out on my own. Alas, two weeks have passed, and my toddlers think Toddler Time is "run around the room for 20 minutes, while Miss Amy reads to herself"! The parents are no help. They think it's adorable.
All of the kids are new and all barely meet the age requirement. Last week, I barely managed two books before I threw in the towel. Any ideas for getting the little ankle-biters to sit still? Adderall? Just kidding. Kind of.
Anyone have this problem before? Any books you can think of that really grab their attention?
Thanks!

I know a band that would love to come and perform although I don't think we will have any problem finding bands. Also, you can let your future rock and blues stars know that Burbank's in Sharonville has an under 21 Blue's Jam every Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m.
teen bands in the library
If you want to hear teen music in the library come on out to OE. We had a great time on 6/3/06 .
